About the Role
The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for scientific and engineering applications, managing requirements, and ensuring quality and configuration control. The engineer will use Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git, improve performance metrics, and support on‑site meetings and deliveries. • Design, develop, implement, maintain, and configure scientific/engineering software applications • Define system and software requirements, obtain customer approval, and ensure quality control • Utilize Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git) for task management and team collaboration • Lead and mentor junior engineers and support on‑site customer meetings and deliveries

What You Bring
• Minimum qualifications: BS in CS/Engineering, 8+ years software development, OOP, architecture, testing, Web Services, JavaScript/React, containerized app development, DoD 8570 IAT Level II+ certification • Required skills: Java, C/C++, Python; strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team • Desired qualifications: MS degree, experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Fortify/CodeDx/Trellix, Agile/DevSecOps, product ownership, neural networks/ML • Clearance: Active TS//SCI with polygraph
