About the Role

The Graphic Design Manager leads a highly creative team of 2D and 3D specialists, overseeing the conceptualization and execution of design solutions from inception to completion. Responsibilities include maintaining brand identity guidelines, creating sophisticated templates, producing complex visual graphics and motion graphics, and ensuring the highest quality across all deliverables while managing multiple projects and deadlines. • Lead and manage a team of 2D and 3D graphic specialists. • Conceptualize and execute graphic design solutions from inception to completion. • Prepare and deliver high‑quality reports, boards, and presentations. • Maintain and enforce Parsons and client brand identity guidelines. • Create sophisticated presentation and report templates for multiple purposes. • Design complex art and layouts following brand standards and style manuals. • Produce reproduction‑ready visual graphics such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, diagrams, posters, signs, and certificates. • Generate sketch renders to illustrate space and scale during early concept development. • Develop motion graphics and animations for video projects and digital presentations. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements. • Ensure the highest quality of all deliverables, including team outputs. • Mentor junior designers and provide art direction to elevate design quality. • Stay current with emerging design trends and technologies to deliver innovative solutions. • Collaborate with Technical Design Leads and authors to review artwork and recommend improvements for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency. • Communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. • Translate sketch ideas into workable scales and spaces using modeling software.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a talented Graphic Design Manager to join its creative team. In this role you will work with a young, dynamic team to deliver visually compelling and effective graphic design solutions for a wide range of projects across various media. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least ten years of professional graphic design experience. Candidates must demonstrate expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, strong typography and UI design skills, solid project and time management abilities, and the capacity to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast‑paced environment. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. • Possess 10+ years of professional graphic design experience. • Demonstrate expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Lumion, and related tools. • Apply strong typography, UI design principles, and layout/composition skills. • Exhibit excellent project and time management capabilities. • Experience developing and implementing brand identity systems. • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. • Desired: previous experience in architecture or engineering design. • Desired: ability to hand‑sketch plans, sections, and 3D concepts. • Desired: relevant professional qualifications and affiliations.
