About the Role

The Assembler I will meet daily production goals while emphasizing safety, quality, delivery, inventory control, and productivity. Primary duties involve assembling low‑voltage assemblies, allocating materials, preparing raw components, performing electrical testing, and preparing finished products for shipment. Technicians will use various fixtures, gauges, and tools—including layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk, and paint—plus apply identification labeling to completed assemblies. They must retrieve and deliver materials to the line, prepare assemblies for storage or shipment, and follow all safety policies, WSRA guidelines, standard operating procedures, and method sheets. • Assemble low‑voltage assemblies, handling material allocation, preparation, wiring, testing, and shipment readiness. • Utilize fixtures, gauges, and hand/air tools (drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk, paint) to build and label products. • Follow standard operating procedures, interpret electrical/mechanical drawings, and adhere to safety and WSRA policies. • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. • Support Lean Line, Flex Line, and PowerWave2 operations, adapting to various assembly tasks as needed.

What You Bring

The role requires flexibility to work across the entire assembly operation, including Lean Line tasks such as can prep, tape, bridge joint build, paperwork, labeling, brush testing, final test, and general assembly. Experience with Flex Line and PowerWave2 assembly processes is also valuable. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of manufacturing experience using hand and air tools. Desired skills are problem‑solving, teamwork, adaptability to process changes, maintenance of a clean 5S+ workplace, independent work capability, and the physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lb, and push or pull up to 100 lb. • Meet minimum requirements: high school diploma/GED and at least three months of manufacturing experience. • Demonstrate problem‑solving, teamwork, 5S+ workplace cleanliness, and ability to lift 40 lb and push/pull 100 lb.
