About the Role
• Provide multidisciplinary technical and integration support across systems, civil structures, stations, alignments, communications, signalling, geotech, highways, drainage, fire engineering, MEPH, and traction/OCS. • Translate client briefs into actionable design requirements aligned with programme objectives. • Develop and implement integration strategies to ensure cohesive system performance. • Plan and oversee system testing and verification for compliance and performance requirements. • Maintain comprehensive integration records for traceability and compliance. • Identify and resolve interoperability issues across subsystems and interfaces. • Support external validation, verification, and oversight activities as needed. • Lead technical reporting and design verification, ensuring multidisciplinary alignment. • Manage design resources and deliverable outputs, guiding project teams. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates will have extensive multidisciplinary engineering experience, a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, and a proven track record in metro or rail system design. Strong collaboration, problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams are essential. • 10+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience, with 5+ years in metro or rail system design. • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. • Proven experience producing scheme and detailed design reports, layouts, schematics, and calculations for rail projects. • Experience conducting site surveys, inspections, and documenting asset conditions. • Strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills for multidisciplinary project delivery. • Extensive knowledge of engineering specifications and standards (BS, EN, IS, NFPA). • Proficiency with design software applications and engineering modelling tools. • Experience in quality assurance and risk management for technical deliverables. • Chartered Engineer (EI or equivalent) status preferred. • Membership or Fellowship of a relevant engineering institution.
