About the Role

Key responsibilities include reading blueprints and measurements to determine layouts, selecting the appropriate welding equipment and method, and setting up components according to specifications. The welder will operate angle grinders to prepare parts, align and clamp pieces, and perform welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Equipment must be maintained to ensure safe operation throughout. • Read and interpret blueprints to plan welding layouts. • Select appropriate MIG/TIG equipment and welding method per specifications. • Prepare and align components using angle grinders and clamps. • Perform welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. • Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and safety compliance. • Maintain welding equipment to ensure safe operation. • Apply problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under pressure. • Work in environments with temperature extremes, dust, and fumes.
