About the Role
The role involves mechanical set‑up of superchargers on test stands using various fixtures, operating test equipment through control software such as iTest and National Instruments, and collecting test data with instruments like thermocouples, flowmeters, and pressure transducers. Additionally, the incumbent assists with mechanical teardown and failure analysis of tested assemblies, and supports prototype assembly and sample builds. Precision tools—including dial indicators, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines—are employed to ensure dimensional accuracy, while the technician provides support across multiple test‑lab areas as required. All activities adhere to EHS, material‑handling, and quality‑control procedures such as LOTO and inventory management, with a focus on continuous improvement in quality, performance, cost, and standardization. • Set up superchargers on test stands using fixtures. • Operate test equipment via iTest and National Instruments software. • Record and analyze test data using thermocouples, flowmeters, and pressure transducers. • Perform mechanical teardown and failure analysis of assemblies. • Assist in prototype assembly and sample build projects. • Use precision tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, and CMMs for measurements. • Provide cross‑lab support as needed. • Follow EHS, LOTO, material handling, and quality control procedures. • Drive continuous improvement in quality, performance, cost, and standardization.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or GED, possess a minimum of three years’ experience in automotive, mechanical, or industrial settings, and reside within a 50‑mile radius of Marshall, MI (active‑duty military are exempt). No relocation assistance is provided for this position. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in applied science, experience in testing and development, prototype builds, and test data analysis, as well as strong organizational, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment are also required. • High School Diploma/GED minimum; associate degree in applied science preferred. • At least 3 years of automotive, mechanical, or industrial experience. • Experience with testing, development, prototype builds, and data analysis. • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation abilities. • Analytical and problem‑solving skills with mechanical aptitude. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment. • Collaborative approach to change and cross‑divisional expertise. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Residence within 50‑mile radius of Marshall, MI (exempt for active‑duty military); no relocation assistance.
