About the Role
The Facility Assessment Manager leads efforts to produce facility condition reports, project planning, accounting, and business development while ensuring compliance with Kraus‑Anderson’s quality and safety standards. • Evaluate existing facility conditions and verify program needs • Inspect site, envelope, interior finishes, ADA compliance, life safety, mechanical and electrical systems • Create detailed maintenance reports for long‑term planning using specialized software • Estimate costs and prioritize repair, replacement, and maintenance of building systems • Assist project teams in master planning and budgeting for facility needs beyond repairs • Ensure deadlines are met and work assignments are completed on time • Build and maintain client relationships; review deliverables before client distribution • Analyze and pursue new business opportunities for Facility Assessment services • Align prospective opportunities with the company's growth strategy • Identify potential customers, develop strategic relationships, negotiate agreements • Support development of annual strategic plans for Facility Assessments • Participate in proposal and interview processes as needed • Communicate future client and prospect opportunities to the Director of Facility Assessment • Assist in company‑wide Facility Assessment training implementation • Complete Facility Assessment training and certifications (e.g., PCA certification)

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, building operations, engineering, or related field • Six or more years of relevant experience • Knowledge of building systems, MEP, and architectural components • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Business development skills to grow the Facility Assessment line • Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide exemplary customer service • Effective time management and efficiency in meeting work goals • Compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards • Strong work ethic and adherence to company values and conduct standards • Experience in architecture, construction management, building operations, or engineering (preferred) • Membership in BOMA, IFMA, or ASHRAE professional organizations (preferred) • Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record • Travel up to 25% of the time • Frequent sitting, standing, and talking; occasional lifting up to 50 lb • Requirement for close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and navigate job sites with sand, mud, or equipment
