About the Role
Design and implement testing methods to ensure product and process quality, including testing finished‑product capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes. Provide manufacturing decision‑making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements. Assist procurement on cost‑savings projects, equipment and tooling repairs, and perform process failure mode effects analyses. Collaborate with management to define project timelines, justification, and budget forecasts. Support plant safety rules, procedures, and standards. • Design testing methods and establish standards for product and process quality. • Calculate production, labor, and material costs; review schedules; forecast requirements. • Support cost‑savings projects, equipment repair, and perform PFMEA analyses. • Collaborate with management on project timelines, justification, and budgeting. • Ensure compliance with plant safety rules, procedures, and standards. • Analyze data to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance quality while maintaining safety. • Develop process flows, floor layouts, PFMEA, standard work instructions, LOTO procedures, and risk assessments. • Design and support automation equipment and production lines. • Design fixtures, automation workstations, and manage work/process flow.

What You Bring
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 0–2 years of engineering support experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office and SOLIDWORKS or comparable CAD/CAM software. They should be able to gather and analyze manufacturing data to optimize throughput, reduce scrap, improve quality, and ensure plant safety. No immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided, and applicants must reside within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL. Experience in developing process flows, floor layouts, PFMEA, standard work instructions, LOTO procedures, and workstation risk assessments is desired. Background in designing and supporting automation equipment and production lines is also advantageous. A minimum of one year of hands‑on project management experience demonstrating leadership from start to finish is required. Candidates must work effectively alone and in teams, possess strong interpersonal and leadership qualities, and have good organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects. Experience in designing fixtures, automation workstations, and managing work and process flow, as well as the ability to present ideas clearly using various tools or software, is essential. Familiarity with CNCs, molding, grinding, and other manufacturing technologies is expected, and bilingual Spanish capability is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 0–2 years manufacturing engineering experience. • Proficient in MS Office and SOLIDWORKS or similar CAD/CAM software. • Residency within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL; no immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance. • One+ year hands‑on project management experience with end‑to‑end leadership. • Strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills for independent and team work. • Present ideas clearly using tools/software to secure approval. • Experience with CNCs, molding, grinding, and other manufacturing technologies. • Bilingual in Spanish.
