About the Role

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing and resident relations, including showing units, processing applications, handling complaints, and supporting retention programs while maintaining accurate data and meeting leasing goals. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents, qualifying and touring the community. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, maintain model units, and follow up to close leases. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits and unit‑turn processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing targets. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with office, common‑area, and model‑unit upkeep and cleaning. • Implement annual marketing plans and conduct market surveys and analysis. • Keep current on property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and project a favorable community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, standing for long periods, and working in varied weather and overtime conditions.
