About the Role

You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, supervise contractors under CDM regulations, conduct hydraulic and sediment‑transport modelling, and provide coaching to junior staff while maintaining health, safety and environmental standards. • Lead planning, design and delivery of geomorphology and river restoration projects. • Manage multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate contractor supervision under CDM regulations. • Perform hydraulic, sediment‑transport and geomorphological modelling. • Develop geomorphological management plans and conduct flood or landslide hazard analyses. • Coach junior staff and maintain health, safety and environmental compliance.

What You Bring

The role is for an experienced Geomorphologist and River Restoration Project Lead within the UK Water team. The incumbent will plan, manage, model and design sustainable geomorphology and river restoration schemes for a range of clients, including regulators, water companies and developers. The ideal candidate holds a degree in geography, physical sciences or engineering, has proven river‑restoration experience, strong project‑management capabilities and excellent communication and leadership skills.
