About the Role
The Driver role involves safely operating a tractor‑trailer or straight truck with a pup trailer that requires a Class A CDL, performing assigned duties on designated routes. • Operate Class A CDL tractor‑trailer or straight truck safely, adhering to OSHA, DOT and company policies. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections via electronic DVIR and report issues promptly. • Communicate incidents, customer requests, and service problems to Operations Manager and Dispatch. • Load, transport, and dump containers, ensuring customer sites are left clean and containers are positioned safely. • Follow assigned routes, complete required documentation, and assist fellow drivers as directed. • Work in varied conditions including garages, shops, gas plants and outdoor environments with inclement weather.

Drivers work both inside facilities such as garages, shops, or gas plants and outdoors in various weather conditions. The position demands physical tasks like standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing.
