About the Role
The role focuses on fire and safety compliance, overseeing fire safety systems, training, risk assessment, and stakeholder collaboration, as well as driving Environment Health & Safety (EHS) management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 within acquired office buildings. The incumbent will support the property manager, liaise with fire departments, maintain records, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to Indian safety regulations. • Ensure compliance with Indian fire safety laws and regulations. • Liaise with local fire departments and authorities to secure fire safety approvals. • Oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of fire detection and suppression systems. • Conduct regular inspection and testing of fire safety equipment. • Maintain records of fire drills, inspections, and incidents. • Develop and deliver fire safety training for staff and vendors. • Support emergency response planning and execution. • Perform fire risk assessments and implement corrective actions. • Collaborate with property management, contractors, and vendors on fire safety measures. • Report fire safety performance and incidents to management. • Lead EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) for office buildings. • Apply Indian safety, health, and environment regulatory standards. • Implement HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, waste management, and hygiene practices. • Manage EHS documentation and reporting. • Conduct safety audits and support ISO documentation and audits. • Provide training to meet government and corporate safety requirements. • Perform safety inspections and recommend improvements. • Assist in incident investigations and propose remedial measures. • Generate statistical HSE performance reports for clients.
