About the Role
• Build and lead regional staff while coordinating market‑focus activities and ensuring client satisfaction. • Generate new revenue and expand existing streams within the assigned market focus. • Develop and deepen networks with prospective clients, architects, PM/CM firms, and general contractors. • Track leads, forecast project pipelines, and create winning strategies and teams. • Stay current on regional and national market trends and keep the team at the technical forefront. • Facilitate information sharing across the national team for staffing and project pursuits. • Ensure technical excellence of project delivery and resolve complex issues. • Develop and coordinate the regional practice area business plan aligned with the national plan. • Align regional goals with the national team to execute coordinated business plans. • Create strategies to penetrate new clients and increase high‑margin work. • Oversee project financials, inter‑office, and client reporting structures. • Articulate the firm’s value proposition to differentiate the market segment. • Lead or support integrated services sales presentations. • Provide leadership and problem‑solving to guide teams and partners to successful project outcomes. • Author articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences and events. • Recruit senior staff with market‑specific experience and mentor newly hired direct reports.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). • Bring 15+ years of relevant market design experience and thorough knowledge of MEP systems. • Provide at least 7 years of management experience and 7+ years developing business for engineering or construction. • Maintain PE registration and be flexible to travel regionally on the East Coast and occasionally internationally. • Demonstrate strong relationship‑building, communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
