About the Role
The part‑time weekend Leasing Agent will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals. The role involves all leasing activities from greeting prospects to processing applications, preparing leases and ensuring smooth move‑ins. The community is a stabilized garden‑style property with 192 units, and workdays run Friday through Monday with varying start times (8 am–5 pm Friday/Monday, 9 am–5 pm Saturday, 10 am–5 pm Sunday) and scheduled lunch breaks. • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks • Prepare leases and move‑in packages, ensuring smooth resident move‑ins and lease signings • Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate maintenance to address any issues • Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy • Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online listings • Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident and prospect data • Maintain show unit quality by daily inspecting marketing corridors, communicating upkeep needs, and merchandising units and amenities • Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, thank‑you notes, calls, or cards to ensure satisfaction and secure leases • Manage lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents before move‑out, and ensuring timely signing of renewal documents • Respond promptly and courteously to resident or owner concerns, documenting issues and coordinating resolution with appropriate staff

What You Bring
Applicants must hold all state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing and possess a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property. The role requires standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 25 lb independently (or 50 lb with assistance) in indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Flexibility is required, including occasional evening, weekend or holiday “call” coverage and occasional travel to support other properties or attend training.

Entry‑level candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply; prior leasing or sales experience, as well as familiarity with OneSite and Knock CRM, are strongly preferred. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $18.27‑$22.00 plus $100 commission per newly approved lease and bonuses tied to resident retention, typically ranging from $300 to $1,500 per month. The position offers performance‑based earnings, industry training, and opportunities for long‑term career growth.
