About the Role
The Systems Administrator position is located at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and is an international assignment with no remote‑work option. Reporting to the Federal Solutions team, the role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining a multi‑site communications networked infrastructure for U.S. government missions. • Manage account creation and administration on physical and virtual machines. • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues. • Build virtual machines on physical server stacks. • Document servers, generate monitoring reports, and maintain system functionality. • Install and administer Windows and Linux servers. • Create GOLD images and perform server backups with OS hardening using STIG and SCAP scans. • Conduct routing and switching within the enclave and integrate firewalls.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience, or associate’s degree with 7+ years, or 10+ years experience in lieu of a degree. • IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+) certification required. • Minimum 2 years in a System Administrator role. • Experience with virtualization technologies. • Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewall configuration. • Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF requirements. • Active Secret security clearance.
