About the Role

The Maintenance Technician for Multifamily at 101 Depot is responsible for delivering quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, expedited service, and personalized attention. This role supports residents by ensuring their service needs are met promptly and professionally. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments, responding to resident requests, performing routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, and maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities. The technician may be on call for after‑hour emergencies, reports issues in vacant units and common areas, follows fair housing laws, participates in required training, and adheres to uniform and safety standards. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs). • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. • Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities clean and safe. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergencies. • Report maintenance concerns in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training programs and adhere to uniform and appearance standards. • Read manuals, compute ratios, and write routine reports and correspondence.

What You Bring

Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, the ability to read and interpret policy manuals and maintenance instructions, basic math skills, problem‑solving with known variables, and the capacity to write routine reports while following all safety procedures. Education requirements are a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical/vocational certification, and the position demands at least one year of related maintenance experience. The work environment combines a professional office setting with travel between properties, exposure to varying weather conditions, and physical demands such as standing for extended periods, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or moving up to 100 pounds regularly. • Hold a valid driver's license and EPA 608 Type II certification. • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical/vocational education. • Have at least one year of related maintenance experience. • Travel between properties up to 10% of the time and lift up to 100 lb regularly.
