Key responsibilities include complying with work‑scope instructions from Maintenance Operations Control, disassembling, cleaning, re‑assembling, and repairing engines and modules, and using troubleshooting logic to identify defects. Technicians must access and interpret engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, and IPC, as well as apply Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances, and obtain and maintain repair‑station inspection approval. • Follow Maintenance Operations Control work‑scope instructions. • Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and repair engines and modules. • Diagnose defects using troubleshooting logic and engine data (AMM, EMM, IPC). • Apply Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances. • Obtain and maintain repair‑station inspection approval.

What You Bring
An exciting opportunity exists for a Field Technician IV – On Wing Services at Rolls‑Royce, located within a 100‑minute drive of Phoenix (PHX) and Scottsdale (SDL) airports. The role supports aviation customers and manufacturers by providing maintenance, repair, and inspections on aircraft engines both domestically and internationally. Candidates must pass a required eye exam, be able to lift components up to 50 lb, and be willing to travel up to 100 % of the time. Candidates must hold an FAA Airframe & Power Plant License and have either a high school diploma/GED with four or more years of aircraft maintenance experience, or an associate degree with three or more years of relevant experience. This FAA‑designated safety‑sensitive position requires US citizenship or permanent residency, a successful FAA/DOT background check, and a drug screen that complies with FAA regulations. Preferred qualifications include prior Rolls‑Royce gas‑turbine engine experience, customer‑relations skills, familiarity with engine or aircraft logbooks, and experience in FAR‑145 repair stations. The role also values the ability to act in a lead capacity when directed by Maintenance Operations Control and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Hold FAA Airframe & Power Plant License with 3–4+ years aircraft maintenance experience. • Pass FAA/DOT background check and drug screening; be US citizen or permanent resident. • Preferred: prior Rolls‑Royce gas‑turbine experience and FAR‑145 repair‑station knowledge. • Ability to lead tasks as directed by Maintenance Operations Control. • Proficient in basic Microsoft Word and Excel.
