About the Role

The Process Lead – Financial Accounting & Reporting reports to the Financial Control Team Lead within Global Business Services – Finance, based in Bengaluru, India. The role ensures accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and reconciliations while complying with corporate policies, IFRS/local GAAP, statutory and tax requirements, and supports period‑close activities. The position manages day‑to‑day general ledger transactions, assists with reconciliations, and supports month‑end closing. It is responsible for master‑data maintenance, intercompany management, and first‑level trial‑balance review, as well as providing internal and external finance reporting support. • Maintain and update financial master data (chart of accounts, cost/profit centres, internal orders), validate requests, and perform regular data cleansing. • Prepare and post manual journal entries, perform account reconciliations, analyse variances and report intercompany reconciliations. • Execute period‑end closing activities, post accruals/deferrals, review trial balances and support consolidation mapping. • Assist in preparing internal and external finance reports and collaborate with business finance, tax advisors and auditors. • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory regulations and internal controls, and promptly identify and escalate risks.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field and be qualified or part‑qualified CA, CPA or ACCA. They need 2–3 years of accounting/GBS experience, proficiency with SAP FI/CO, BlackLine and advanced Excel, and knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, statutory disclosures and foreign‑currency translations. Strong problem‑solving, accountability and interpersonal skills are required.
