About the Role
The driver will ensure safe and timely transportation of HVAC equipment, maintaining vehicle and cargo integrity while coordinating with internal teams. This role also involves regular inspections, accurate record‑keeping, and routine vehicle maintenance. When not on the road, the driver assists with general yard and shop duties and keeps the assigned vehicle clean and serviced. Communication with dispatch and warehouse personnel is essential to keep delivery status updates flowing. • Operate Class A CDL semi‑trucks to transport HVAC units and materials • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain driver logs • Load and unload HVAC equipment using forklifts or other machinery • Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit • Deliver products to job sites, distribution centers, or clients on schedule • Communicate delivery status with dispatch and warehouse teams • Assist with general yard or shop duties when not driving • Maintain cleanliness and routine servicing of the assigned vehicle • Document and record information electronically or in writing • Service, repair, adjust, and test mechanical equipment • Handle, install, position, and move materials manually • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials for defects • Provide information to supervisors, peers, or subordinates via phone, email, or in person

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, have a clean driving record, and be able to pass DOT drug screening and a physical examination. Experience with HVAC equipment or heavy machinery is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus. • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) • Minimum three years experience driving semi‑trucks • Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical • Experience with HVAC equipment or heavy machinery (preferred) • Ability to lift up to 100 lb and work in varying weather conditions • Forklift certification (a plus)
