About the Role

• Design water dams, retarding basins and service basins from concept through detailed design. • Inspect, investigate and assess condition of existing dams, including monitoring data review. • Conduct safety reviews with multidisciplinary teams. • Liaise with clients and manage multiple projects of varying scale. • Mentor junior engineers. • Prepare design reports, drawings and specifications.

What You Bring

The senior Dams/Reservoir Engineer role can be based in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth, and includes full relocation and visa support for suitable worldwide candidates. Candidates are expected to bring hands‑on experience in dam and reservoir engineering, strong technical qualifications and a collaborative attitude. AECOM offers a hybrid work model with flexibility to work from office, remote locations or client sites. • Hold experience in dams or reservoir engineering and design. • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and CPEng registration (highly regarded). • Demonstrate strong report writing and verbal communication skills. • Exhibit a positive, innovative, collaborative mindset.
