About the Role
As a CNC Operator on the Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team, you will interpret work instructions and job orders, set machine controls, and ensure production programs run efficiently. You will monitor machine output, verify dimensions with precision measuring tools, and document any program changes to enable repeatable setups. Safety compliance and flexibility in machine setup are integral to the role. • Read and interpret work instructions, prints, and job orders for product specifications. • Troubleshoot, edit, and optimize new production programs with assistance. • Calculate and set machine controls (cutting depth, speed, feed, coolant flow) per work orders. • Document program changes to ensure repeatable setups and optimized production time. • Verify machined workpieces against specifications using gauges, calipers, and micrometers. • Deburr parts to meet blueprint specifications. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Set up machines flexibly to ensure optimum shop output. • Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height, thread, depth, or fixed gauges.

What You Bring
Candidates should have 1–3 years of CNC mill or lathe experience, strong attention to detail, and basic computer and math skills. Physical requirements include standing up to 10 hours a day, frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (70 lb with assistance), and the ability to perform repetitive motions. The position requires willingness to work overtime and compliance with ITAR as a U.S. person. • 1–3 years CNC mill/lathe operator experience (preferred). • Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math. • Strong attention to detail; read safety rules and operating manuals. • Flexible in work assignments; capable of continuous grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking. • Able to stand 8–10 hours daily and lift 50 lb independently or 70 lb with assistance. • Willingness to work daily and weekly overtime as required. • Must be a U.S. person per ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee).
