About the Role
The Cleaner works the 2nd shift under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor, performing a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Work is guided by established standards, instructions, and procedures of the company. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors using both light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, as well as vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The role also involves dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, and other horizontal surfaces, cleaning interior glass, windowsills, and door trims, and maintaining bathroom cleanliness by restocking supplies and sanitizing fixtures. Additional responsibilities include collecting building trash, replacing liners, monitoring for defects such as clogged urinals or lighting issues, and removing snow from entrances and walkways as directed. Periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing are also performed. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors using commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo as directed. • Clean interior glass, windowsills, and door trims; wash specified windows. • Maintain bathroom cleanliness, restock paper supplies, and service soap and toilet paper dispensers. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lights. • Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and place waste in approved containers. • Remove snow from steps, walkways, and entrances as directed. • Perform periodic high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing. • Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including backpack‑style portable vacuums.

What You Bring
No prior cleaning experience is required, but the candidate must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment, including portable backpack vacuums, is essential.
