About the Role

Essential functions include performing commercial renovations and build‑outs, using basic computer skills, following OSHA requirements, and presenting oneself professionally while communicating effectively with customers to build relationships. • Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinetry, and door/window installation • Paint interior and exterior surfaces • Install flooring types including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base • Conduct basic plumbing work: replace/install sinks, faucets, toilets, and simple drainage • Execute basic electrical tasks: replace/install fixtures, switches, outlets, and data connections • Carry out commercial renovations and build‑outs • Communicate professionally with customers to build relationships

What You Bring

Current opportunity: Traveling General Handyman. The national maintenance and construction firm is recruiting a General Handyman willing to travel on full‑time commercial construction projects across the United States. The role requires proficiency in carpentry, painting, and flooring, as well as basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Candidates should be able to frame partitions, install cabinetry, doors, windows, paint interiors and exteriors, and lay VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base. Basic plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration knowledge is also expected, with licensed plumbers and electricians encouraged to apply. • Apply basic HVAC refrigeration knowledge • Utilize basic computer skills and adhere to OSHA safety standards
