About the Role

Key duties include coordinating architects, engineers and suppliers, maintaining robust project governance, producing status reports, and monitoring multiple construction sites to ensure design standards are met. The manager will also handle budgeting, schedule forecasting, technical support, rapid RFI responses, and foster strong client relationships to generate future opportunities. • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects. • Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips. • Ensure effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized. • Apply best practice on all projects. • Produce formal project status reports and other required documentation. • Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly. • Manage supplier interfaces via monthly trackers and weekly reviews. • Facilitate flow of project information through regular meetings and written communications. • Forecast and update key project milestones and budget. • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria. • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders. • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field. • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance. • Independently review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers. • Develop excellent client relationships to maximize new opportunities. • Advise project teams on strategic approaches to meet client and business objectives. • Capture key information and learnings from each project (knowledge management). • Identify improvements to internal systems and processes (process improvement). • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable. • Lead end-to-end HVAC project delivery for retail and corporate environments. • Manage installation, upgrades, commissioning, and optimization of HVAC systems to meet performance, comfort, and energy‑efficiency requirements. • Oversee mechanical contractors, engineers, and service partners; review proposals, negotiate scopes, validate work quality, and ensure adherence to specifications. • Collaborate with facilities, real estate, construction, retail operations, and EHS teams to align HVAC solutions with operational needs. • Maintain detailed project schedules and milestones; proactively identify and resolve delays. • Ensure HVAC work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, sustainability standards, and internal design guidelines. • Conduct site visits to verify installation quality, system performance, and adherence to engineering specifications.

The role is for an experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager who will lead large‑scale construction projects, primarily in retail and corporate environments. The manager will be responsible for end‑to‑end HVAC delivery, ensuring projects meet performance, comfort and energy‑efficiency targets while providing excellent client service. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related discipline and demonstrate strong organisational, management and communication abilities. Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and other construction project‑management tools, together with effective presentation skills, is required.
