About the Role
Johnson Controls designs, manufactures, installs, and services integrated fire alarm, suppression, security, and communications systems. We are seeking a Preventive Maintenance Agreement (PMA) Service Sales Executive to promote and sell fire inspection and service agreements for commercial building systems such as fire alarms, suppression, sprinklers, extinguishers, kitchen hoods, and other fire protection assets. The role involves determining customer needs, developing sales strategies, closing sales to meet plan objectives, and maintaining an active proposal backlog supported by building surveys. You will establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers, and schedule sales calls while leveraging marketing strategies. Expertise will be built in one or more vertical markets and geographic territories, mastering fire code requirements to guide customers toward our service offerings. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate sales records, submitting timely reports and expenses, fostering long‑term customer relationships, and collaborating within Johnson Controls to expand presence with major accounts. • Promote and sell fire inspection and service agreements for commercial building systems. • Conduct building surveys and develop proposals to meet sales targets. • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships. • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and expenses. • Collaborate across Johnson Controls to secure larger customer accounts.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, persuasion, and closing skills, and can handle a variety of sales situations with minimal supervision. A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred, along with one to three years of verifiable sales experience in a related field.
