About the Role
The leader will conduct continuous strategic and financial analysis to evaluate the health and competitive positioning of the Mobility group’s global portfolio. They will support each segment’s strategic planning and articulate the group’s direction to internal and external audiences. A core responsibility is to expand and manage the acquisition pipeline, co‑leading activities such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and minority investments. The Director will collaborate with senior leaders, regional teams, and product heads to pinpoint growth opportunities and rationalize both organic and inorganic initiatives. The role also coordinates strategy deployment across the organization, aligning processes, resource plans, and goals while ensuring clear communication of the business strategy. It provides business intelligence, monitors emerging markets, macro trends, and technology advances, and prioritizes M&A targets for performance review. When evaluating specific deal opportunities, the Director prepares comprehensive business cases, conducts robust strategic and financial analysis, and works with CD&S to develop qualitative and quantitative deal models. They also lead negotiations, review legal documentation, and resolve issues that could affect transaction valuation. Additionally, the Director participates in special cross‑functional projects, assesses overall market dynamics, and helps design an effective, growth‑focused organizational structure that leverages regional strengths. What You Bring
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred. Candidates must have at least 12 years of professional experience, with a decade of using strategic frameworks, financial modeling, and valuation methods, and 10 years of progressive leadership, ideally with direct or matrix management experience. The individual must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The position demands the ability to convey complex information, develop persuasive communication strategies, and drive strategy discussions across diverse stakeholder groups. A macro‑strategic outlook, professional presence, and a collaborative mindset toward building high‑performing teams are essential. • Require at least 12 years of experience, 10 years in strategic frameworks and financial modeling, and progressive leadership; MBA preferred; authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
