About the Role
The custodian is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathroom fixtures, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window blinds. Additional duties include dusting furniture, bookcases, window seals, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; washing windows, doors, and glass fronts; performing light maintenance on toilets and sinks; restocking cleaning supplies; and picking up trash and debris throughout the campus. • Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window blinds. • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors. • Wash windows, doors, and glass door fronts. • Perform light maintenance/repair on toilets and sinks. • Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies. • Pick up trash and debris throughout the campus.

This entry‑level position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and demonstrate attention to detail, good decision‑making, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work cooperatively in a team, maintain satisfactory attendance, adapt to variable schedules, rotate through multiple stations, and work overtime as needed is essential, as is compliance with all company policies and procedures. The work environment includes manufacturing facilities with exposure to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.
