About the Role

This role supports the Project Management team on moderate‑size projects or portions of larger projects, working under moderate supervision. The employee organizes assignments, follows standard practices, and handles some unusual situations independently while interfacing with design, BIM, and superintendent teams. Key duties include monitoring change orders, assisting with regulatory compliance and financial reporting, reviewing project costs and schedules to ensure budget adherence, and maintaining project information through document control and management software. The employee also attends meetings, reports on task progress, and may provide technical guidance to subordinate managers while enforcing company policies. • Assist Project Management with administration on moderate‑size projects. • Coordinate with design, BIM, and superintendent teams to resolve project issues. • Monitor change orders, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. • Review costs and schedules to ensure projects stay within budget and contract terms. • Maintain accurate information using document control and project management software. • Attend meetings and provide status reports on assigned tasks. • Provide technical direction to subordinate managers and enforce company policies.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Construction Management, Business, or a related field and have at least two years of commercial construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include extensive commercial construction background, specialization in document control, familiarity with California regulatory compliance, and proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, and CMIC. The position requires physical stamina typical of construction field roles, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating active job sites with varied terrain and environmental hazards. Workers must be able to use personal protective equipment and remain alert to safety risks. This role does not provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization, requires a pre‑employment substance‑abuse test, and is based on‑site in Sacramento, CA with no remote or hybrid option. • Hold a BA/BS in Construction Management, Business, or related field with 2+ years of commercial construction experience. • Preferred: extensive commercial construction background, document control expertise, and California regulatory knowledge. • Proficient with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, CMIC, and other project management tools.
