About the Role

The Document Controller – Saudi National will support the management, organization, and control of project documentation for a large‑scale infrastructure project. This role ensures that all project documents are correctly stored, retrieved, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner, serving as the central point of contact for document‑related queries among project teams, subcontractors, and consultants. • Maintain and manage project documentation using the designated control system. • Register, track, and archive all project documents in accordance with requirements. • Control document flow with version control and updates for the project team and stakeholders. • Coordinate receipt, review, and distribution of documents across teams and departments. • Implement and enforce document control processes to meet project standards. • Monitor document quality to ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry standards. • Conduct regular audits to verify completeness, accuracy, and proper storage of documents. • Safeguard confidentiality and security of sensitive project information. • Serve as the primary contact for document‑related queries among project teams, subcontractors, and consultants. • Facilitate meetings and communications to resolve document issues and ensure smooth workflow. • Maintain a comprehensive log of all incoming and outgoing project documents and correspondence. • Prepare regular status reports on document milestones, tracking deadlines and submissions. • Monitor submission timelines and issue reminders to prevent delays. • Assist in preparing close‑out documentation and project handover packages. • Archive documents in both physical and digital formats according to retention policies. • Enable easy retrieval of documents for audits, reviews, or inspections.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of document control experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). • Proficiency with document control software such as Aconex, Procore, or SharePoint. • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication for effective stakeholder interaction. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Certification in Document Control (e.g., Certified Document Controller) is a plus. • Familiarity with BIM integration into document control practices. • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. • Experience with construction‑related collaboration platforms. • Fluency in Arabic or additional languages advantageous.
