About the Role
• Architect and implement hosting solutions for dynamic SaaS web applications at scale. • Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for reliable, secure global environments. • Define and enforce standards, processes, and best practices with thorough documentation. • Implement security hardening and least‑privilege policies across infrastructure and applications. • Deploy and manage containers and virtual machines using Docker, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation/CDK. • Collaborate with development, testing, and documentation teams throughout the product lifecycle. • Automate workflows and integrate emerging technologies to improve efficiency. • Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs, manage error budgets, and ensure reliability targets are met. • Align technical strategy with business requirements by working closely with stakeholders. • Participate in on‑call rotation and incident management, delivering timely resolutions and clear communication. • Conduct blameless post‑mortems to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement. • Proactively learn and lead initiatives that promote a culture of excellence.

What You Bring
Autodesk’s PDMS Platform SRE team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer. The role blends first‑response, performance analysis, system architecture, capacity planning, and monitoring responsibilities. Strong technical expertise and communication skills are essential, as is a passion for learning new technologies and solving problems. • 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with cloud‑based applications. • Advanced Linux administration, including monitoring, troubleshooting, reliability, and security. • Experience managing large‑scale AWS infrastructure or comparable cloud platforms. • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl, or similar languages. • Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, S3, IAM, VPC, DynamoDB, and RDS. • Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. • Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, etc. • Skilled in log analysis and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana). • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and SQL. • Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
