What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and have over 10 years of software development experience, including a proven track record as a Solutions Architect delivering cloud‑native solutions. Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, domain‑driven design, clean architecture, test‑driven development, SOLID principles, and major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is required, along with strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks. Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, secure coding, API security, and documentation tools such as C4‑Diagrams, Confluence, and Swagger is expected. Preferred qualifications include AI/ML or data engineering experience, cloud certifications, familiarity with Scaled Agile or Lean practices, and competence with Atlassian tools, JFrog Artifactory, and GitLab. The role requires frequent sitting, telephone communication, and extended computer work, and team members must maintain an ergonomically appropriate remote workspace. Employees located near Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, and all team members must reside and perform work within the United States. ConstructConnect participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience. • 10+ years of software development experience, including product discovery activities. • Proven Solutions Architect experience delivering successful cloud‑native solutions. • Deep expertise in SDLC, domain‑driven design, clean architecture, design patterns, TDD, SOLID, and cloud‑native principles. • Proficiency with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and technologies (serverless, containers, Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL and frameworks such as Spring, Node, Angular, React, .NET Core. • Experience with messaging and caching technologies like RabbitMQ, Redis, NServiceBus and relational databases. • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder influence and mentoring. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and secure coding practices. • Familiarity with documentation tools (C4 diagrams, Confluence, Markdown, Swagger) and Agile methodologies (Scaled Agile, Lean, XP). • Preferred: experience with AI/ML or data engineering. • Preferred: cloud architecture certifications (e.g., Google, AWS, Azure). • Preferred: knowledge of Product Operating Model principles. • Preferred: proficiency with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), JFrog Artifactory, and GitLab.
