About the Role
As a High‑Level Engineer supporting the Pacific Southwest market, you will lead pre‑sales engineering, design, and estimation activities, perform value engineering and cost optimization, and verify design assumptions with sales and operations teams. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, conducting technical risk analysis, engaging vendors and subcontractors to negotiate and finalize solutions, and preparing comprehensive techno‑commercial proposals for clients. You will also coordinate post‑sales documentation, enforce QA/QC policies, and support strategic account managers with bid responses and functional specifications. • Verify design assumptions and collaborate with sales and operations. • Interpret engineering drawings to create compliant designs and site plans. • Conduct technical risk analysis and support post‑contract design reviews. • Engage vendors and subcontractors to assess quotes, negotiate offers, and finalize solutions. • Develop and present comprehensive techno‑commercial proposals to clients. • Identify and propagate best‑in‑class engineering practices across the business. • Coordinate post‑sales documentation and enforce QA/QC policies. • Assist Strategic Account Managers with bid responses and functional specifications. • Audit installed systems for product revision control and provide customer support. • Support evaluation, beta testing, and demonstration of new systems at industry events.

What You Bring
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of experience in design, pricing, and implementation of integrated systems projects, and proficiency in large‑project management, database connectivity, LAN protocols, and serial communications. Candidates must have a high level of expertise with access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and CCTV products, strong oral and written communication skills, and high PC literacy; NICET Level III or higher is preferred. • Require Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum three years experience in integrated systems design, pricing, and implementation. • Proficient in large‑project management, database connectivity, LAN protocols, and serial communications. • Expertise in access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, and CCTV products. • Strong oral and written communication skills with high PC literacy. • Preferred NICET Level III certification.
