About the Role
The Lead Software Engineer will head a full‑stack development team within the Ground Management and Integrations group. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining diverse software applications critical to mission success while operating in an Agile environment. Key duties include translating requirements into actionable tasks, automating manual processes, and ensuring high‑quality code through rigorous reviews and CI/CD practices. The engineer will also engage in program gate reviews, manage Earned Value Management reporting, and mentor the development team. • Lead full‑stack software development team and deliver complex solutions in an Agile environment. • Decompose requirements, implement software enhancements, and automate manual workflows. • Conduct code reviews, ensure CI/CD pipelines, and manage version control with Git. • Participate in program gate reviews (SRR/SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QPMR) and identify risks with mitigation strategies. • Support Earned Value Management reporting and baseline management. • Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical support to the team and customers. • Present data visualizations to communicate technical information.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance. The ideal applicant possesses a BS in Computer Science or a related field, at least ten years of experience, deep knowledge of Python, Java, C++, Agile/Scrum, AS9100, and containerized development, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. • Maintain an active Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance. • Hold a BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience. • Proficient in Python, Java, and/or C++ with experience in Git, CI/CD, and containerized development. • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to mentor teams in their adoption. • Experience with Aerospace Quality AS9100 standards. • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and delegate tasks while promoting cross‑functional collaboration. • Desired: active TS/SCI clearance, front‑ and back‑end development, MBSE SysML, Kubernetes, aerospace background, and Security+ certification.
