About the Role

As a Driver/Operator you will safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on designated transfer routes, adhering to OSHA, DOT and company safety standards. The role includes completing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, reporting unsafe situations, and keeping the vehicle clean and safe. You will also follow scheduled route assignments, assist other drivers when needed, and ensure all required documentation is finalized at the end of the shift. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes following OSHA, DOT and company safety standards. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues promptly. • Immediately notify Operations Manager or Dispatch of unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents or service needs. • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings and meetings and collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency. • Assist fellow drivers as directed and communicate customer requests or problems to Dispatch. • Dump containers, clean the site, position containers properly, and submit customer tickets for excess yardage. • Complete all route documentation and check‑in at the end of each shift.

What You Bring

No formal education or prior experience is required, but a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and an acceptable driving record are mandatory. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check and motor‑vehicle record review. A REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative is required for any travel that involves federal property or air transportation. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and maintain an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check and possess a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative if required.
