About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is tasked with safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt and courteous waste removal services. This role also involves ensuring the vehicle complies with company safety standards and all applicable state and federal regulations before each operation. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, following assigned routes, loading and compacting refuse, and delivering it to disposal sites. The driver must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, monitor waste for prohibited items, and address any spills according to safety protocols. • Conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Operate the collection truck safely on assigned routes, loading refuse and using the compactor. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify, tag, and report unsatisfactory waste containers while monitoring for prohibited waste. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to meet safety standards. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation. • Follow all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and adhere to company rules. • Access health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP).

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement. Pay ranges from $21.35 to $29.37 per hour, dependent on local jurisdiction, and the position includes eligibility for a bonus plan. • Maintain a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement.
