About the Role
Reporting to the VP EMEA Sales & Marketing, the leader will define and drive execution of sales and market strategies for data centers across the EMEA region. They will lead the development and implementation of technology, process, and talent strategies to support organizational objectives. The role includes building and managing a commercial team proficient in securing and delivering products, services, and solutions for large, multi‑country, complex, mission‑critical data center projects. The leader is responsible for data centre segment sales and business growth across EMEA, covering national and international hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. As the commercial leader, they directly manage an extended sales team and ensure effective collaboration with product business units, quotation engineering, project management, services, segment marketing, and country sales organisations. The business focuses on customer account management and structured engagement with consultants and contractors. Sales management involves building, supporting, and managing the performance of a direct sales team of key account managers across EMEA. The leader creates, communicates, and implements an effective sales growth plan and associated customer account plans, tracking revenue growth, profitability, new account acquisition, new territories, and overall sales proficiency. They ensure reporting to segment and regional leadership and collaborate with other regions to support global account programs. Commercial management oversees the effectiveness and segment‑appropriate nature of adjacent functions such as tender proposals, commercial offers and contracts, project management, services, and marketing. The data centre strategy includes overseeing the operation and utilization of engineering quotation engineers to generate tender proposals and commercial offers, supporting pre‑sales engineering activities. • Define and execute EMEA data center sales and market strategies • Build and lead a commercial team delivering solutions for large, multi‑country projects • Directly manage extended sales team and coordinate with product, engineering, project, services, marketing, and country sales groups • Drive customer account management and structured engagement with consultants and contractors • Grow client base and geographic coverage through cross‑functional collaboration • Develop and implement sales growth plans with metrics on revenue, profitability, new accounts, and territories • Oversee tender proposals, commercial offers, contracts, project management, services, and marketing alignment • Direct engineering quotation resources to produce tender and commercial proposals • Lead change initiatives and implement new tools and processes • Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity policies

What You Bring
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the 3‑phase UPS data centre business. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to inspire and coordinate others, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, strong customer affinity, influencing skills, and executive presence.
