Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers independently assess customer storage needs, suggest and sell packing and moving supplies, and conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability. They are responsible for auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and maintaining customer payment status through reminder and collection calls. Physical duties include transporting items up to 35 lb, walking around facilities for up to half of the workday, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and keeping exterior grounds clear of debris are also part of the role. • Independently manage multiple storage locations, assessing customer needs and recommending packing and moving supplies. • Conduct daily unit inspections to verify inventory, availability, and readiness for rent. • Audit cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and handle payment collections and reminder calls. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50 % of time walking in/outdoor facility areas, including stairs and large doors. • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and maintaining exterior curb appeal.
