About the Role
As an Electrical Superintendent, you will drive the execution of all on‑site electrical operations, overseeing planning, coordination and hands‑on supervision to deliver projects on time, within budget and to precise specifications. The role adapts to client and project size, ranging from leading a small crew to orchestrating large‑scale efforts with broader authority. Passion for precision, a fast‑paced environment and keeping projects humming are essential. The role requires up to 12‑hour shifts performing physically demanding work in varying temperatures and weather conditions, including lifting objects up to 50 lb, climbing, and working at heights while wearing required personal protective equipment. • Promote and enforce company safety policies. • Lead and manage up to 60+ employees, including leadmen, foremen, and superintendents. • Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors and construction crews. • Perform Level I Superintendent and Foreman duties, overseeing trade workers. • Prepare accurate two‑week look‑ahead schedules and job layouts using latest technology. • Communicate effectively with employees, clients, and subcontractors in oral and written form. • Conduct minor estimating and cost forecasting for projects. • Ensure all operators are certified and equipment is properly maintained. • Assist HR with interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing field complaints. • Mentor and develop direct reports and crew members.

What You Bring
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in electrical construction. • Licensed Electrical Journeyman (Alaska or reciprocal state). • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and construction methods. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and technical documents. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic algebra/geometry.

Assignments last an average of 8‑18 months, with per‑diem and mobilization support provided, as well as a longer weekend every four weeks for additional home time.
