About the Role
The Project Engineer contributes to the safety, direction, completion, and financial performance of construction projects from budgeting through closeout. This role works closely with project executives and senior managers to meet client needs while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client needs under guidance of a Project Executive. • Develop and value‑engineer project budgets with support from senior management. • Facilitate subcontractor bid process, including processing, distribution, and tracking of documentation. • Utilize software tools and templates to manage and track project documentation. • Negotiate subcontractor and material buyouts; prepare and negotiate subcontracts. • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, resolving conflicts and ensuring quality and safety. • Monitor project costs, forecast labor, material, and equipment expenses, and analyze profit exposure through completion. • Lead project closeout activities, ensuring documentation and financial finalization. • Build relationships, motivate team members, and provide clear direction and teamwork. • Interact with clients and prospects to identify opportunities and support business development. • Prepare and deliver client presentations, negotiate, and secure new contracts under supervision.

What You Bring
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms with senior management and project stakeholders. • Hold a B.S. in Construction Engineering or related field and 3–5 years of construction experience. • Demonstrate strong relationship‑building, written and verbal communication, self‑motivation, detail orientation, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
