About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies, keeping the vehicle clean and safe. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR, reporting any issues for corrective action. • Safely dump containers, leave sites free of debris, and position containers correctly on customer property. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, accidents, or route problems promptly to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Follow assigned routes, assist other drivers as directed, and submit required documentation and customer tickets. • Participate in an annual education assistance benefit and access additional perks such as dependent daycare and discounted stock options.
