About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) role involves safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards before each shift and adhere to all applicable company, state, and federal regulations while on the road. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, loading and compacting refuse, transporting it to the disposal site, and maintaining the vehicle’s operational readiness. Drivers also interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, manage waste‑container issues, and report any safety concerns or vehicle defects promptly. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs). • Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes, load refuse, operate the compactor, and discharge material at the designated disposal site. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely and professional service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for compliance with departmental standards. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete required route, productivity, and other reports while meeting productivity standards. • Participate in the ReSOP safety program and follow all safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
