About the Role
The role involves leading the delivery of assigned project packages, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met, and supervising contractors to execute works per specifications and milestones. The incumbent will direct the supervision team, enforce HSE requirements, resolve site issues, represent AECOM in client and authority meetings, and manage technical submittals, progress reporting, cost control, and scope variations. They will also prepare execution, HSE, and quality plans, assess programs and cost estimates, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with local authority procedures for micro‑tunneling and drainage works. • Lead delivery of assigned project packages, meeting schedule, budget, and quality targets. • Supervise and manage contractors to ensure work complies with specifications, drawings, and milestones. • Direct and coordinate the supervision team for daily construction inspections. • Enforce full compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety‑first culture. • Resolve site‑related issues promptly with sound engineering judgment and documentation. • Represent AECOM in client, contractor, and authority meetings, maintaining professional communication. • Review and endorse contractors’ technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and construction drawings. • Monitor progress reporting, schedule updates, and cost control to align with project goals. • Negotiate and manage scope variations, claims, and change requests with clients and contractors. • Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan, HSE Plan, and Quality Control Plan for the package. • Assess construction programs, technical deliverables, and cost estimates for accuracy. • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and inspectors, conducting performance reviews. • Conduct internal weekly meetings to monitor site performance and develop corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to RTA, DM, and local authority procedures for micro‑tunneling and drainage works. • Provide well‑being resources and an employee assistance program. • Provide business travel insurance and recognition awards.
