About the Role

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care. You will prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities, serve meals in the dining room, and clear tables. You will respond to resident emergency calls, observe, document, and report any changes in condition, and communicate politely with residents and family members. You will maintain required documentation, transport residents as needed, help with housekeeping, laundry, and answer telephones according to procedures. • Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care • Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities; serve and clear meals in the dining room • Respond to resident emergency call system and attend to alerts • Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition to RCD or designee • Maintain required care documentation per state regulations and company policies • Transport residents as needed • Support housekeeping, laundry, and maintain clean resident rooms and common areas • Answer telephones following company procedures

Our ideal candidate will also have the following skills and experience: CNA certification is required, although a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Direct Care Staff (DCS) certificate may be accepted; a high school diploma or equivalent; be at least 18 years of age; be available to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday); have experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment (preferred); possess CPR and First Aid certifications or the ability to attain them. • CNA certification (or PCA/DCS certificate) • High school diploma or equivalent • Availability to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality or service (preferred) • CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain • Communicate courteously with residents and families
