What You Bring

The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in instrumentation, petroleum, or mechanical engineering and have three to six years of experience in subsea engineering design or operations. They should have deep expertise in at least one area such as subsea systems, operations, hardware, or processing, and be familiar with subsea production system hardware including wellheads, trees, manifolds, jumpers, and connectors. Additionally, they must understand and apply relevant subsea engineering codes and standards such as API 17D/6A/17H, ASME 31.3/31.8, and other IOGP and ASME specifications. The role also requires solid knowledge of subsea system architecture, hardware functionality, and typical system operation, including layout, process flow, and chemical distribution. Experience with developing PFDs, P&IDs, and design specifications for process equipment is essential, as is familiarity with various subsea control and topside systems and their interfaces. Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills are also expected. • Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation, petroleum, or mechanical engineering • 3–6 years of subsea engineering design or operations experience • Expertise in at least one area: subsea systems, operations, hardware, or processing • Knowledge of subsea production hardware (wellhead, tree, manifold, jumpers, connectors) • Proficiency with subsea codes & standards (API 17D/6A/17H, ASME 31.3/31.8, IOGP) • Understanding of subsea system architecture and hardware functionality • Ability to develop PFDs, P&IDs, and process equipment design specifications • Familiarity with subsea control (SCM, SDU, UTA, flying leads) and topside systems (MCS, EPU, HPU) • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
