About the Role
The Senior AI/ML Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Maryland, requiring three days onsite per week. In this capacity, the engineer will prototype, develop, and deliver AI‑enhanced, customer‑centric solutions, integrating them into existing programs and products. • Match data‑driven AI/ML systems to appropriate problem domains • Architect and develop AI solutions within existing programs and products • Refine analytical models using graph, relational, text, JSON, and Pandas data formats • Present results and ideas to decision makers, customers, analysts, and other stakeholders • Consult with stakeholders to define features and objectives • Translate system requirements into low‑level implementations • Configure, support, troubleshoot, and integrate data solutions in AWS cloud environments • Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources • Curate and collect data from traditional and non‑traditional sources • Collaborate with team members to monitor model performance and data accuracy • Document processes, models, and activities • Develop, debug, and tune data processing pipelines

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field (experience may substitute) • Minimum five years of AI/ML project experience, including data engineering, software development, or system integration • Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph eligibility • Experience in Department of Defense cyber operations • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ programming • Experience with air‑gapped and secure cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Ability to perform large‑scale statistical analysis • Familiarity with big‑data tools such as Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, and NoSQL • Knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) project planning
