About the Role
The Carpenter Helper assists skilled craftspersons by performing supportive duties under direct supervision. The role requires a general knowledge of carpentry and the ability to use hand and power tools to help with designing, constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard structures. • Assist carpenter with layout, material handling, positioning, securing, and cutting • Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and equipment • Keep work area stocked with necessary materials • Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb) and perform repetitive hand/arm tasks • Work in various conditions including uneven surfaces, confined spaces, and adverse weather • Communicate effectively with supervisors and maintain attention to detail • Make decisions and concentrate amid distractions

What You Bring
