About the Role
Under general direction, this role manages a truck‑based service business, growing labor and material revenue while maintaining gross margin and service asset performance. You will deploy and maintain standardized tools, systems, and support for the Service Team, manage resources to maximize customer satisfaction, and ensure overall operational excellence and service growth. Key duties include setting and monitoring team growth and profitability goals, leading the Service Team to ensure productivity, consistency, and quality, and handling warranty‑related issues. You will manage customer relationships, assist with monthly forecasting, maintain optimal staffing through labor planning, and oversee recruitment, hiring, and performance development. Additional responsibilities cover approving timesheets, ensuring safety compliance, handling bookings, accounts payable/receivable, and pursuing change‑order opportunities while building long‑term relationships with contractors and clients. • Manage and grow a truck‑based HVAC service business, focusing on revenue, gross margin, and asset management. • Deploy standardized tools and systems to support the Service Team and ensure operational excellence. • Set team goals, monitor productivity, and maintain high customer satisfaction. • Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management for service staff. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and safety compliance. • Develop long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

What You Bring
Effective leadership requires clear verbal and written communication with internal and external customers, ownership of issues, and the ability to multitask with tact and persistence. Strong organizational and time‑management skills are essential as priorities shift, and customer satisfaction remains the top priority. Required qualifications include a college degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years in the HVAC field. Preferred qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 5 years of supervisory experience, 1‑2 years of site coordination or project management, and 5 years of field experience with digital HVAC controls. Proficiency with service management software, financial accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and strong interpersonal skills are also required. • Minimum 10 years HVAC experience; college degree or equivalent. • 5 years supervisory experience and 1‑2 years site coordination/project management preferred. • Strong verbal/written communication, Microsoft Office, and service management software skills.
