About the Role

The Sr. Acquisitions Specialist will support product teams by providing acquisition program‑management expertise, drafting strategies, baseline plans, test and evaluation master plans, system‑engineering plans and life‑cycle sustainment plans. Key duties include creating and maintaining all documentation for program milestones such as MDD, Milestone A‑C, Full‑Rate Production, and Type Classification, as well as preparing decision packages for corporate review boards. The specialist will use collaboration tools like Microsoft SharePoint and the Global Electronic Approval Routing System to route, track and update documents, and will support program personnel with reviews, decision briefs, quad charts and procurement forms. Additional responsibilities involve supporting the Combat Development community by developing and updating requirements documents such as Analysis of Alternatives, Initial Capabilities Document, Capability Development Document and Operational Needs Statements. • Provide acquisition program‑management support and draft acquisition strategies, baselines, and plans. • Develop and coordinate Milestone Decision Authority packages and educate staff on acquisition policy. • Create and update documentation for all program milestones and decision‑review boards. • Utilize SharePoint and electronic routing systems to manage, track, and approve acquisition documents. • Prepare program reviews, decision briefs, quad charts, and procurement/RDT&E forms. • Support Combat Development by authoring requirements documents (AoA, ICD, CDD, ONS).

What You Bring

The role also requires deep knowledge of intelligence‑community and agency policy to develop and coordinate Milestone Decision Authority acquisition packages, serve as a subject‑matter expert, and educate the workforce on evolving policies. The position is on‑site with minimal travel (0‑20 %), requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, and at least seven years of related experience; DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management is preferred. • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and apply DAWIA Level II/III program‑management knowledge.
