About the Role

• Inspect work quality to ensure standards and specifications are met • Assist workers and resolve problems • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations • Read and interpret blueprints/sketches and complete reports • Build and set forms, use level instruments, tie rebar, construct scaffolds, finish carpentry, set screeds, install batter boards, and operate hand and power tools • Assist other craft workers as needed • Perform repetitive hand/arm and leg movements with hand/eye coordination • Operate electric, gas, and pneumatic tools and perform sedentary to heavy work • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds • Frequently grasp, lift, handle, and carry objects • Walk on uneven, muddy, loose rock or sand surfaces; work in confined spaces • Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and field workers • Read and write to give and receive directions and safety policies

What You Bring

The Carpenter Foreman supervises and coordinates carpenter workers to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and on schedule. They create sketches of job details, plan projects, respect timelines, and secure necessary resources. The role requires knowledge of advanced layout, use of Simon forms, anchor‑bolt layout, material takeoff from drawings, and safety requirements, as well as the ability to operate tools and equipment safely. Work occurs in plant operations or construction job‑site settings. The position demands significant physical capability, including lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), climbing, balancing on frameworks, and working in varied weather and terrain. It also requires strong mental skills such as effective communication, reading and writing comprehension, mathematics, decision‑making, attention to detail, and leadership. • Push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb) • Communicate (hear, comprehend, speak) safely while working • Work with prolonged bending, twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, overhead reaching, squatting, pulling/pushing, standing, and lifting • Endure adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain • Use math and perform calculations • Work at various tempos and concentrate amid distractions • Make decisions and exhibit strong leadership and motivational skills
