About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Distribution Center team. This role focuses on maintaining inventory balances, accuracy, and issue resolution upon receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods using WMS, SAP, and Exacta systems. The position also supports continuous improvement projects aimed at productivity and inventory accuracy while providing leadership to hourly employees, especially Inventory Technicians who handle product counting and transfers. Key duties include managing $10 million of finished‑goods inventory, overseeing a two‑shift cycle‑counting program, and ensuring accurate inventory to sustain the physical‑inventory exemption. You will drive improvements in receipt, storage, and picking processes, create visibility for in‑transit inventory, and own strategies for optimizing, monitoring, and auditing location accuracy. Collaboration with manufacturing sites, external supply partners, and the Bussmann Division SCM team is essential to align inventory strategies across logistics, procurement, planning, and quality. Additional responsibilities involve developing standard work for Inventory Technicians and providing backup support to the DC Operations team. • Manage $10 M of finished‑goods inventory. • Oversee cycle‑counting program across two shifts. • Maintain inventory accuracy to meet physical‑inventory exemption. • Lead continuous‑improvement projects for receipt, storage, and picking processes. • Provide visibility of in‑transit inventory for proactive planning. • Optimize, monitor, and audit location accuracy. • Coordinate end‑to‑end inventory processes with manufacturing sites and external partners. • Lead inventory‑accuracy initiatives aligned with DC High‑5 metrics. • Collaborate with Bussmann Division SCM to align inventory strategies. • Develop standard work procedures for Inventory Technicians. • Serve as backup support for DC Operations team.

What You Bring

• Require bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum 3 years inventory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. • Minimum 1 year supervising or leading staff. • Experience with SAP and WMS. • Candidates must reside within 50 mi of the job location (military exemption applies).
